Irene: Today’s the last day of July. We need a new Substack article.

Jennifer: But we don’t have a topic chosen. We’re going to miss our deadline!

Carmen: We could submit an erratum. Last time we said we were alone in our cave, but that’s not true. We should talk about all of our creative friends, mentors, and community support who help keep up going. (👋🏼 Hallo! Thanks, Friends!)

Jyn Li: Or we could talk about how we revised our graphic novel development process: update the overall book synopsis and then edit page by page.

Jessie: Hey! We could introduce everyone to Clara, our new inner character we met recently!

Friday: Got it. Thanks!

Last week after Saturday Writing Group, I was so fired up after the call with Jared (author of Left Unsaid and The Absence of Light Substack) that I wrote the rest of the day. Writing in the kitchen means I barely moved all day.

Working through my graphic novel process with my comics coach, K.Woodman-Maynard, she helped me realize that I needed a new tracker. 😁 And now I’m flowing again!
